Langtang Region is one of Nepal's most popular trekking areas. Ancient times saw traders bartering salt and mountain goats on their way to Tibet. More recently developed by the Tourism for Rural Poverty Alleviation Program, the "Tamang Heritage Trail" highlights traditional mountain cultures amid stunning highpass landscapes. The Tamang Heritage Trail is one of the most amazing trekking paths in Nepal. Tamang Heritage trail offers new heights in excitement. Located in the Langtang area in central north of Nepal, the path presents a mixture of impressive Himalayan views, historical and cultural heritage, and a combined experience of Tamang and Tibetan culture and society.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel, welcome dinner in the evening
Day 02 : Half day sight seeing in KTM then prepare for the trip.
Day 03 : Kathmandu- Syabru Beshi 1460m - 9 hrs by Bus and 6 hours by Jeep
Day 04 : Syabru Beshi - Gatlang 2238m - 6:00 hrs
Day 05 : Gatlang - Tatooani 2380m - 6 hrs
Day 06 : Tatopani - Nagthali 3165m Thuman 2238 6 hrs
Day 07 : Thuman - Briddim 2239m 6 hrs
Day 08 : Bridim - Lama Hotel 2410m 5:30 hrs
Day 09 : Lama hotel - Langtang 3330m –5 hours
Day 10 : Langtang - Kanging Gompa 3780 . 3 hours
Day 11 : Rest in Kanging Gompa
Day 12 : Kanjing Gompa - Lama Hotel 6 hours
Day 13 : Lama hotel - Syabru Beshi 5 hours
Day 14 : Drive back - Kathmandu
Day 15 : Sight seeing Bhaktapur City. Welcome Dinner in the evening.
Day 16 : Departure
