Jugal Himal With Helambu Trek.

Panch Pokhari is approached through Helambu, north East of Kathmandu. The area is mainly inhabited by Budhist Sherpa and Tamang, with their contrasting style of architecture and dress. The lower ridges are terraced for crops. Higher up stands of huge conifers and flowering rhododendrons, hung with liche remain. Above the tree line is pasture for sheep and Yaks with alpine gentians and edelweiss. The Top camp will be 3762m on the slopes of the Jugal Himal. From the ridge the views are tremendous, from Langtang and Dorje Lakpa immediately north of Everest..

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Half day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.

Day 03: Drive to Chautara 4 -5 hours over night camp
Day 04: Commence trek to Yarsa, lunch en route at Syaule.
Day 05: Pass through small village and steeply climb to Kami Kharka Danda 3162m. Where is a summer cattle house only no any other settlement.
Day 06: Trek along the forest and ridge to Chyo Chyo danda 3463m.
Day 07: Trek along the forest and ridge up and down to Chang Samarphu 3650m.
Day 08: Descend steeply to summer pasture (Bhainsi Kharka) forest camp 3000m.
Day 09: Continue descend to Yangri Khola 1425m along Tamang village and farmland
Day 10: Gentle climb through the Tamang village to Sarmathang 2621m. Helambu Sherpa Village.
Day 11: Descend down to Melamchi Bazar 846m. End of the trek.
Day 12: Drive Kathmandu check in hotel

Day 13: free day in Kathmandu or shopping etc
Day 14: Transfer to airport for International departure.

Note: The trek has to be Camping - there area not Tea House /Lodge available in trek Route. Price will be Provide on request.

Ground transfers: From / to Starting & Ending Point Of The Trek. 4 nights hotel twin room on B+B plan in kathmandu. Camping equipments two men tent, Sleeping bag, Mattress, Dining tent with table and chairs and Toilet tent. Kitchen Equipment & trek food include all meals, Tea & coffee. Trek Staff: Sirdar, Sherpa Guide, Cook, Porters. Staff insurance covered up to 19000ft.
