Everest Kalapathar Trek.

This trek explores the Everest region thoroughly starting by flying into Lukla airstrip - GETWAY to the Everest area (Khumbu Village) one must allow about 10-21 days among the high Sherpa Villages and the alpine area below the highest mountains in the world. Also there are many others trekking Peaks & Passes are open for adventures Travelers. Most treks approaching the Everest area by road to Jiri or 45 minutes flight into Tumlingtar and trek Arun Valley to Everest.With eight of the world’s ten highest peaks, Nepal is loaded with spectacular mountains vistas. Everest trek is not only famous for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain (8848m.) but also for its friendly Sherpa people, picturesque villages, great variety of cultures and traditions, colorful festivals and monasteries. The flora and fauna are other ornaments of the Sagarmatha National Park. The story of the yeti is still a mystery in the world from the Khumbu region. This trek gives you the grand tour of the famous Khumbu valley. This is a strenuous trek leading to Gokyo Lake and over the Cho La at 5,430m making a circuit of Tawache (6,367m.) and Cholatse (6,440m). Emerging into the Khumbu valley above Lobuje the trail continues up to Kalapatthar and then back to Lukla via Tengboche and Namche Bazaar. The small herding settlement of Gokyo (4750m) lies on the banks of the third lake in a series of small turquoise mountain lakes and on the ridge above Gokyo, the four peaks above 8000m of Cho You, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu expose themselves. In addition to this you can have a look at the tremendous ice ridge between Cho You and Gyachung (7922m), considered one of the most dramatic panoramas in the Khumbu region. There are many options for additional exploration and high-altitude walking, including the crossing of Cho La, a 5420m-high pass into Khumbu and a hike to Gokyo Ri. Strenuous trekking is continuously rewarded with dramatic Himalayan scenes, including four of the world’s highest peaks: Cho Oyu (8,201m.), Makalu (8,463m.), Lhotse (8,516m.) and Everest (8,848m.). Breathtaking mountain vistas are complemented by visits to Sherpa villages, homes and monasteries offering you an insight into the quiet but, culturally vibrant Sherpa way of life..

Outline Itinerary:

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 2 : Half day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley.

Day 3 :KATHMANDU – LUKLA –PHAGDING

Fly to Lukla 2800m. meet trek staff and commence trek Phakding 2600m. Lunch.en-route overnight Tea House /lodge Day 4 : PHAGDING – NAMCHE BAZAR

After breakfast trek along the dud koshi valley and Enter the Sagarmatha National Park. Lunch en- route after lunch Steeply walk up to Namche Bazaar 3450m.and overnight Tea House / Lodge. This must be done slowly to allow for acclimatizing.

Day 5 : NAMCHE

A free day at Namche for acclimatization, explore sherpa village and visit museum - excellent views of great Himalayan including Everest.

Day 6 : Namche – Phortse

After breakfast you will continue to trek Phortse Sherpa village. Which will be pleasant morning walk beginning of the day.

Day 7 : Phortse – Dingboche

we follow a spectacular high path to Pangboche for lunch and continue trek to dingboche (4200) for over night stay.

Day 8 : Dingboche

After breakfast optional walk to Chhukhung and Island Peak base camp with pack lunch for the day and back to dingboche.

Day 9 : Dingboche – Luboche

Follow the main trail to Everest base camp up beside Khumbu glacier to Luboche 4900m via Thukla and over night stay.

Day 10 : Luboche – Kala Pather

Early start trek to Gorak Shep & climb Kala Pather 5545m

over looking view Everest base camp and back to Lobuche.

Day 11 : Luboche – Thyngboche

Descend along the main khumbu valley to Thyngboche Monastery via Pheriche and pangboche over night stay.

Day 12 :Thyngboche – Monjo

After Breakfast descend to phungithanga a across the bridge and ascend to Sanasa than Namche for lunch after lunch descend to Monjo over night stay.

Day 13 : Monjo - Lukla

The final day of the trek follow the Dudh kosi valley to Lukla via Phagding with the pleasant walk over night stay.

Day 14 : Lukla - Kathmandu

Fly to Kathmandu from Lukla and transfer to hotel.

Day 15 :Free day in Kathmandu shopping etc.

Day 16 :Transfer to airport for International depature.
