Lama Parivar has many years of experience in leading and organizing treks in the himalayas and various with all other favorite places of our country "Parivar means family" in local language and Lama Parivar grows as many of you visit Nepal with your family and friends. Our part of the world is not just hills and mountains. Within its boundaries are some of the great river of the region, jungles, wildlife and a divese mix of race, creed and culture – all of which we are able to combine in specially prepared programmes. We are now increasing our input further to help conserve all trekking areas we use by eliminating the use of firewood in cooking, for sherpas/staff and clients on all our trek. We carry out from trek areas all non-biodegradable waste and dispose of it safely. The achievement of all these aims will set pace for other trekking agents and tea house owners.
Enjoy your trek, and whilst you do, please do everything you can to help us conserve the environment of Nepal for your as well as our children.During the busy months of October, November, March and April the popular trek routes in Nepal, particularly the Annapurna circuit, Annapurna Sanctuary, Langtang-Helembu region and the Everest areas attract about 70% of all trekkers. Access to these areas is easy and tea houses offering modest support to the backpackers have proliferated. The routes offer some classic treks and we have guided hikers to these places for several years. We also offer a wide range of treks as alternatives to the better known but crowded areas. All of these – Dhorpatan/Dhaulagiri to the west of Pokhara, the Lamjung Himal, Gorkha and the Manaslu offer equally rewarding trekking with fewer hikers, less tea houses and unspoiled villages and culture. For those looking for greater challenges newly open Dolpo-Mustang, Manaslu and Kangchanjunga is the far east as well as the sherpa is supported "Climbing / Alpine Treks " will be of interest. Peaks such as Mera (6461m) by a rarely trekked route into the Hinku and Hongu valleys from the south and Island Peak (6100m) lying below the flanks of massive south wall of Lhotse are among the favorites.
