In the Northern Himalayan range of Nepal lies the Langtang region, a combination of natural beauty, historical and cultural heritage, famous for Tamang and Tibetan cultures. The "Tamang Heritage Trail" is the newly developed tourism product, linked by roads, which offers a life unfolding unique experience of virgin nature. This trekking destination is just a day long bus journey from the capital, Kathmandu. An 8-day trekking tour on the Syaphrubesi-Goljung-Gatlang-Chilime-Tatopani-Rasuwagadhi-Briddhim-Syaphrubesi route provides varieties of experience.

The Tamang rituals, Tibetan culture, festivals, traditional architecture, costumes, local Syabru dances make this trail a unique destination. There is a view point at Goljung Pass, from where views of Langtang and Kerung (China) can be seen. A tourist gets opportunity to observe Syabru, Mane and other local dances at Goljung and Gatlang VDCs

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu transfer to hotel
Day 02: Half day Sight seeing tour- in and around Valley Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive to Syabru Besi via Dhunche Overnight local hotel
Day 04: Trek to Goljung /Gatlang Overnight community lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Gatlang-Tatopani Overnight local lodge
Day 06: Trek to Tatopani-Nagthali-Thuman Home stay
Day 07: Trek to Thuman-Timure-Rasuwagadi-Timure Overnight local lodges
Day 08: Trek to Timure-Briddim Home stay
Day 09: Trek to Briddim-Khamjim-Syabru Overnight hotel
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu Overnight hotel
Day 11: Mountain flight in the morning and visit Kathmandu Durbar Squire in the afternoon.
Day 12: Departure transfer to the airport for your flight.
