Phakhel Village Camping Tour.

Makawanpur Village Tour Phakhel Village is situated in the Mahabharat Range, South of Kathmandu, approximate two hours drive. Although close to the Capital City it is an unsurfaced road. A sub-tropical climate prevails. The vegetation is mixed forest with fruiting trees & scrubs and below indigenous medicinal herbs and orchids. Many colorful birds are the natural orchestra in the area, including Blue Magpie, Scarlet Minivet, Moubtain Scops Owl and Eagles. Over 150 species can be seen..

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel overnight.
Day 02: Half day Sight seeing tour to Bungamati and Khokana. These are ancient medieval Newari settlements famous for agriculture, mustard oil, and wood carving.
Day 03: Drive to Phakhelfor 3 nights 4 days. overnight fixed camp.
Day 04: Local culture tour for the day with packed lunch and return to camp.
Day 05: Visit local school share your experiences with children for the day.
Day 06: Trek along the village to Pharping and drive to Kathmandu hotel overnight.
Day 07: Mountain flight in the morning. Visit Durbar Squire. Kathmandu
Day 08: Free for shopping until your transfer to airport for departure.

Note: Price subject to change if there are less than 4 Pax in a group. All trips can be customized and extended.

All ground transportation, arrival/departure transfers, sightseeing tour by private coach with English Speaking guide and entrance fees. In Kathmandu 4 nights hotel - twin bed sharing and breakfast. In Phakhel 3 nights fixed camp with full board, breakfast / lunch / dinner.
