Makawanpur Village Tour The charming Lele is 19 kilometers southeast of Kathmandu. Getting there may be rough due to the unsurfaced road, but that is offset by the scenery passing through typical old Newari villages: Sunakothi, Thecho and Chapagaon. Chapagaon is the setting for Vajra Varahi temple. Built in 1665, the Vajra Varahi is the most important Tantric temple of the valley. It contains the shrine of Tika Bhairab, dedicated to Shiva in his terrible form, a somewhat abstract but attractive mural on a brick wall 3 by 6 meters. LAMA PARIVAR HIMALAYAN TREKS, has come up with a thought to promote village tour and offer special fixed camping and Home stay programs. The main theme of the tour is, to up grade the socio- economic condition of the rural villages, which is deprived of many basic amenities. "Parivar" Means your Family in Nepal.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and Transfer to hotel. Overnight Hotel.

Day 02: Half day sightseeing tour to Bungamati and Khokana, two medieval Newari Settlements famous for mustard oil wood carving and agriculture.

Day 03: Drive to Lele Village 3 nights camp.

Day 04: Local culture tour for the day with packed lunch and return to Camp.

Day 05: Visit local school share your experiences with children for the day.

Day 06: Trek through the village anddrive to Kathmandu Over night hotel.

Day 07: Everest Mountain flight in the morning, PM Visit Kathmandu Durbar Squire.

Day 08: Transfer to airport for departure.
